Proactive monitoring service on router equipment
Proactive monitoring is an innovative service that completely distorts the concept of assistance. We pass from a situation of liabilities in which we are waiting for an event / problem to an active and proactive management going to implement all those measures that allow us to have no problems and intervene promptly in the event of an accident.
The operation is very simple, the monitoring system will query the selected node every 5 minutes storing a series of parameters on the operation of the machine. This way the connection status, response time, availability, traffic and use of physical resources can be monitored.

The devices to be monitored must be reachable via IP network and support the PING and SNMP protocols. Devices with a public IP address can be added directly to the system while devices within a private network must be accessed via a VPN . The VPN can be set up by a physical device installed at the customer’s site or via the MPLS network.
The system maintains a history of monitored parameters for which detailed reports can be requested for a specific period. In this way it is possible to check the health of the network, the band used and much more.
It will be easy for the customer to verify the value of this type of service, it will no longer be the problems to catch him by surprise but our staff will take care of identifying them and intervening promptly.
It is possible to configure the sending of e-mail alerts to be notified when a device goes DOWN and when UP returns.
At the commercial level the service is configured based on the number of “nodes” that are monitored, where a “node” is represented by a device (eg router, switch, physical or virtual server) or an interface (eg . port of a switch, physical or virtual interface) or a volume (eg logical disk to be monitored).
